Waterjet stone medallions are created by cutting natural stone slabs with advanced waterjet technology and assembling them as tightly as possible on a solid backer. These stones are polished and sealed, ensuring there are no gaps or grout between individual pieces. This eliminates the need for grout cleaning or color matching. The use of computerized waterjet equipment allows for stone cutting with incredibly close tolerances.
These marble medallions can also be specially treated to create a "non-slip" tumbled surface upon request. They are versatile enough to be installed on either floors or walls, and are frequently used as kitchen backsplashes or decorative tabletops.
